How To Unlock iPhone 4S Using Rebel SIM (Video Guide)

By this time you might have already heard about the new SIM out in the market to unlock iPhone 4S, no we are not talking about TPSIM we are talking about the new Rebel SIM a.k.a R SIM. This new SIM just like others for unlocking uses the same inter-poser method. If you have already got your hands on one of these R SIM, here is how to unlock iPhone 4S using Rebel SIM.


This is a step by step guide for unlocking iPhone 4S on iOS 5/ iOS 5.0.1. It supports all basebands of iPhone 4S; 1.0.11, 1.0.12, 1.0.13 but we must mention here that this Rebel SIM only supports GSM iPhone (such as AT&T) that means if you own a Verizon, Sprint it won’t work.

• iPhone 4S (GSM)

• iOS 5/iOS 5.0.1

• Basebands; 1.0.11, 1.0.12, 1.0.13

• Rebel SIM

iPhone 4S STEP By Step Guide Unlock Guide

STEP 1: Remove your SIM card from iPhone 4S and place the Rebel SIM in the same tray as your original SIM.
STEP 2: Insert both SIMs in to your iPhone 4S
STEP 3: Go to Settings.app and wait until the “Phone” icon turns solid green.
STEP 4: Once green tap on it and then select “SIM Applications”
STEP 5: You will now see an Unlock Menu

Enter 112 Mode 
Auto Mode
Country & Operators
Edit Code

STEP 6: Tap “Country & Operators” 
STEP 7: Now select the carrier your iPhone 4S was locked to.
Note: If your iPhone 4S was locked to AT&T select “1USA AT&T”
STEP 8: Now head back and enter “112 Mode”
STEP 9: On your phone app dial “112″

You will be presented with a screen saying;
Please select “accept” to continue. Then wait 10 seconds, dial “112″ and don’t hang up.

STEP 10: Tap “accept” and dial “112″.
STEP 11: Now slowly remove SIM card and insert it back again.
Note 1: You do not need to remove the SIM card completely
Note 2: You will see “No Service” at the top left corner.
STEP 12: Wait a couple of seconds and you will see your network!
That’s it you have unlocked your iPhone 4S on iOS 5+.
