Finally we have iOS 6 here and one of the major things that is getting a make over in iOS 6 is non other then our favourite feature of the iPhone 4S and the iPad 3 now, Siri. Siri is getting huge make over from Apple, featuring integration of sports, movies, ability to launch apps and being integrated in Cars.


lets get started with Siri, shall we? Take a look at all the things Siri can do in iOS 6. Read ahead.

Siri iOS 6 Sports

This was something we had been expecting from quite some time. Siri now has fully integrated in to sports. Have any questions to ask Siri about the latest happenings in sports? Who scored the most goal in yesterdays match? Which team won against the giants? All of your questions will now be answered by Siri.
Siri can now answer all your questions regarding sports, and when I say “sports” I do not simply refer to a match or which team won, I mean simply anything. Want to know how tall is a specific sports person or how much do they weigh? Just ask Siri. Siri can now answer all questions regarding Sports.

Siri iOS 6 Movies

Siri has polished its skills and can now answer anything related to movies. Wondered you played as Thor in Avengers? Just ask Siri and it will tell you all the things you need.
You can ask Siri to show you the nearest cinema and check which film is currently playing, or even better check the ratings of the movie directly on your iPhone 4S or iPad 3 and get the rotten tomatoes rating.

Siri In iOS 6 Launches Apps

We were definitely count on this one. Siri now has the ability to launch any application at your command. This feature was something most of us were expecting Siri to do.
Just as Siri to launch “Temple Run” and it will launch Temple Run game or just ask Siri to open your Facebook or Twitter account, it will do that too. This is a feature that current jailbroken iPhone’s could do.

Siri Eyes Free Car iOS 6

This was something non of us expected. Apple has launched a new feature for Siri called “Eyes Free”. This feature in iOS 6 allows you to talk to Siri while you are driving car. Dangerous, right? Well no. Eyes free allows you to talk to Siri without looking at your iPhone, you simply press a button in your car and activate Siri. This feature will come in cars in the future, within 12 months.

Through the voice command button on your steering wheel, you’ll be able to ask Siri questions without taking your eyes off the road. To minimize distractions even more, your iOS device’s screen won’t light up. With the Eyes Free feature, ask Siri to call people, select and play music, hear and compose text messages, use Maps and get directions, read your notifications, find calendar information, add reminders, and more. It’s just another way Siri helps you get things done, even when you’re behind the wheel.
