Apple iPhone 4S Emits 3 Times More Radiation Than The Samsung Galaxy S III

According to a new Infographic from Tawkon, a company that develops radiation measurement apps, Apple’s iPhone 4S is kind of harmful for humanity. It won’t kill you, but it will harm you more than the Samsung Galaxy S III will! Yup, bad times I say.

The Infograph lists the Galaxy S III, Motorola Droid 4, HTC Evo 4G, iPhone 4S and the BlackBerry Bold 9700. As per the FCC, the SAR(Specific Absorption rate) levels of a smartphone shouldn’t exceed 1.6 w/kg. The iPhone 4S had a SAR score of 1.11w/kg, whereas the Galaxy S III was at the bottom with a score of 0.34w/kg! BlackBerry Bold 9700 came on top of the list, which is bad, with a score of 1.37w/kg.

This is not really that bad though, because the limits that FCC has set, is still much below than laboratory limits. So, don’t really worry about it! Just make sure that your phone isn’t attached to your body the whole day.
