PaperLock Cydia tweak follows the pattern of previous “Slide To Unlock” tweaks such as Unfold which we previously showed you as it was borne out of a concept of an iPhone 5. PaperLock is one such tweak.

Apple LCD TV Will Cost $1500 For 42″ & $2000 For 55″: Launch In Early 2013

Apple is expected to launch a Television set and now we have an idea on what price range it will adopt and what will be the screen size of these Apple LCD TVs.


We have had our fair share of rumors regrading an Apple TV for quite some time. The rumors first started when Walter Isaacson published biography of Steve Jobs and in it, Steve Jobs mentioned that he had “cracked the code” for building HDTV. Since then we have been barraged with rumors regarding this mystical Apple TV.
Further rumors have been pouring in since Tim Cook (CEO of Apple) gave a talk at D10 conference, although he did not mention anything specific to an Apple LCD TV but it was enough for Gene Munster, an analyst to predict about Apple LCD TV.
He expects Apple LCD TV will start with a price range of $1500 and $2000, for a 42″ and 55″ Apple TV respectively. If you compare that to an LCD TV of today, it is a huge price difference.
To compensate for the huge price difference Apple is going to introduce a revolutionary user interface and something we have all been familiar with, Apple’s voice command feature Siri.

Siri is going to be a key part of Apple TV allowing you to simply do everything with your voice. It is also expected that Apple will launch a separate section for apps regarding Apple TV.
Previously it was rumored that Apple might use OLED technology which is currently the latest but due to high price value of OLED, Apple will go for LCD.
Apple has always been very keen on its design, trying to perfect every inch of the current devices it offers for sale, Apple TV is going to be no different. Apple will keep gave the television set an aluminum outer casing and keep the number of wires to a minimum level.
Apple is expected to launch Apple LCD TV in early 2013 or late 2012. More will be coming on this stay tuned.

Finally we have iOS 6 here and one of the major things that is getting a make over in iOS 6 is non other then our favourite feature of the iPhone 4S and the iPad 3 now, Siri. Siri is getting huge make over from Apple, featuring integration of sports, movies, ability to launch apps and being integrated in Cars.


lets get started with Siri, shall we? Take a look at all the things Siri can do in iOS 6. Read ahead.

Siri iOS 6 Sports

This was something we had been expecting from quite some time. Siri now has fully integrated in to sports. Have any questions to ask Siri about the latest happenings in sports? Who scored the most goal in yesterdays match? Which team won against the giants? All of your questions will now be answered by Siri.
Siri can now answer all your questions regarding sports, and when I say “sports” I do not simply refer to a match or which team won, I mean simply anything. Want to know how tall is a specific sports person or how much do they weigh? Just ask Siri. Siri can now answer all questions regarding Sports.

Siri iOS 6 Movies

Siri has polished its skills and can now answer anything related to movies. Wondered you played as Thor in Avengers? Just ask Siri and it will tell you all the things you need.
You can ask Siri to show you the nearest cinema and check which film is currently playing, or even better check the ratings of the movie directly on your iPhone 4S or iPad 3 and get the rotten tomatoes rating.

Siri In iOS 6 Launches Apps

We were definitely count on this one. Siri now has the ability to launch any application at your command. This feature was something most of us were expecting Siri to do.
Just as Siri to launch “Temple Run” and it will launch Temple Run game or just ask Siri to open your Facebook or Twitter account, it will do that too. This is a feature that current jailbroken iPhone’s could do.

Siri Eyes Free Car iOS 6

This was something non of us expected. Apple has launched a new feature for Siri called “Eyes Free”. This feature in iOS 6 allows you to talk to Siri while you are driving car. Dangerous, right? Well no. Eyes free allows you to talk to Siri without looking at your iPhone, you simply press a button in your car and activate Siri. This feature will come in cars in the future, within 12 months.

Through the voice command button on your steering wheel, you’ll be able to ask Siri questions without taking your eyes off the road. To minimize distractions even more, your iOS device’s screen won’t light up. With the Eyes Free feature, ask Siri to call people, select and play music, hear and compose text messages, use Maps and get directions, read your notifications, find calendar information, add reminders, and more. It’s just another way Siri helps you get things done, even when you’re behind the wheel.

Unlock iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS On iOS 6 – Information

Apple has finally unveiled its next generation iOS for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. iOS 6 brings over 200 new features some of them include Facebook integration, 3D maps, Do Not Disturb, turn-by-turn navigation and much more. But the thing most of you will be interested in is regarding unlocking iPhone 4/4S on iOS 6. So here are some basic unlock information on iOS 6.


Apple has launched iOS 6 beta 1 to developers world wide, so we can get an idea on what baseband would iOS 6 have and would be it possible to unlock them or not. iOS 6 will be released later this fall with iPhone 5 so before its out to the public and you start downloading iOS 6, you must know these important points. So lets get straight in to it.

Unlock iPhone 4S Baseband 2.8.01 On iOS 6

First on the list iPhone 4S. iPhone 4S currently has baseband 2.0.12 on iOS 5.1.1 and currently can be unlocked using Gevey SIM but the thing is that only iPhone 4S GSM versions can be unlocked on iOS 5.1.1.
Now on to iOS 6. If you own an iPhone 4S and update to iOS 6 your baseband will change. The new baseband for iPhone 4S on iOS 6 is 2.8.01, that means Apple has upgraded its baseband therefore making it harder to unlock. So Gevey SIM will NOT UNLOCK iOS 6 thereby making it useless for iPhone 4S on iOS 6.
Those of you who rely on unlocking for iPhone 4S SHOULD NOT update to iOS 6 when it is released or do not download any iOS 6 beta versions as it will make you lose your unlock.

Unlock iPhone 4 Baseband 4.12.02 On iOS 6

Ah! iPhone 4 users. Out of all iPhone users those with an iPhone 4 are the ones who are waiting the most eagerly regarding an unlock. The infamous baseband 4.11.08 and 4.12.01 have still not been unlocked, although we did get an unlock solution in the form of SAM unlock but it did not last long. Apple patched SAM unlock only after a couple of days, but it was enough for hundreds of thousands of you to get your iPhone unlocked.
Although those users who unlocked using SAM could update to iOS 5.1.1 and still be on an unlocked state by restoring unlock activation tickets but its all about to be changed soon.
iOS 6 changes baseband for iPhone 4 bringing a new baseband 4.12.02 (higher baseband). This will make it even more harder to unlock then the current baseband 4.11.08 and 4.12.01.
Those of you who managed to get your iPhone unlocked using SAM should NOT UPDATE TO iOS 6 or even beta versions. Stay away from these

Unlock iPhone 3GS Baseband 5.16.06 On iOS 6

iPhone 3GS owners shouldn’t need to worry to much about the unlock for iOS 6. Currently iPhone 3GS users can get their iPhone unlocked using Ultrasnow 1.2.7 for basebands up to 5.13.04.
iPhone 3GS users are also going to get their baseband upgraded to 5.16.06. Although baseband would be upgraded those looking to still install iOS 6 could do with a cooked custom IPSW using redsnow. I am pretty sure iPhone Dev team will release an unlock for iPhone 3GS on iOS 6. But whenever iOS 6 gets released do not directly jump and install iOS 6 until we get confirmation.

iOS 6 Release Date

The only thing left now is for iOS 6 to go publick from these beta versions. We are expecting Apple will launch iOS 6 alongside iPhone 5 somewhere in mid October just like it did with iOS 5 and the launch of iPhone 4S.
When Apple does release iOS 6 do not directly install iOS 6 until we get the green signal, so make sure you follow Maypalo.

iPhone 5 Will Put Other Smartphones To Shame Especially Samsung Galaxy S3: CEO Foxconn

Samsung Galaxy S3, the flagship smartphone from Samsung has taken a big hit from Terry Gou, CEO of Foxconn. He claims that the up coming iPhone, that is the iPhone 5 from Apple will put Samsung Galaxy S3 to shame.


Samsung unveiled its latest smartphone, the third in the series of the Galaxy series only a month or so ago. When it was launched the first thing we got to know was that Samsung Galaxy S3 is a powerhouse, it is currently one of the most powerful smartphones you can buy. It packs a whopping 2GB of RAM, that is the highest I have ever seen in a mobile device.
Currently the Samsung Galaxy S3 has got good reviews from many media outlets but that is not stopping CEO of Foxconn having a go at the Samsung phone.
Terry Gou CEO of Foxconn in a shareholder meeting mentioned something that pretty much sent headlines around the world. He mentioned that Foxconn will beat Samsung in five years but not only that, iPhone 5 is going to put Samsung Galaxy to shame.

Gou also urged consumers to wait for the launch of Apple’s iPhone 5, saying that the new model will put Samsung’s Galaxy III to shame

So what Terry Gou is saying that iPhone 5, which we only hear rumours about is going to leave the flagship device from Samsung in the dust? That’s exactly what he is saying and to make things even more interesting, Terry Gou might be among the only few people who have actually seen the iPhone 5. This is because he is the CEO of the company that is actually making the iPhone 5!
Amazing right?
The reason he might be saying all this is because he simply hates Samsung. In the shareholder meeting he mentioned that he has made his lifetime goal to defeat Samsung.

Stolen iPhones Can Now Be Completely Blocked Using AT&T’s New Blocking Service Starting 10 July

Apple products are very precious and when it comes to the iPhone, it is no exception. iPhone is one of the most targeted smartphone in the world by thieves. This leaves some people really worried about their iPhone, we already have some applications that are used for blocking iPhone. Well AT&T has stepped up its game regarding stolen iPhone.


The folks over at The Verge are reporting that AT&T from July 10 will start a new blocking service for stolen iPhone.

Effective July 10, 2012, AT&T is launching a new security measure that allows customers to suspend service and block their device from being used on the AT&T network if the device has been lost or stolen.

This is definitely great news for those who have had their iPhone stolen previously, although we can not get the iPhone back but having the assurity that the thief can not use the iPhone will definitely make the pain less.
AT&T will start compiling a list of all iPhones that are being reported as stolen or lost, once the list is compiled AT&T will block the device if anybody tries to use it.
So what if the device had been stolen/lost but later recovered, would that mean the device would no longer be eligible to use? Well the AT&T has it covered for you. To remove a blockade on a device, only the person who originated the block can request a removal, so that means only you (the person who reported about the stolen iPhone) can access the device again.
The blockade service will start from July 10 and to report a stolen device the person has to directly contact an AT&T customer representative.
